Valera and Natasha Cherkashin have been working as a team since 1983. They have been exploring the cultures of the USSR, Russia, United States, Great Britain, Germany, China, and other countries. They have held more than 215 solo exhibits and more than 300 art performances. Their work has been the subject of more than 70 television programs including CNN, Deutsche Welle, Russian TV. Their work has been the subject of over 250 publications, including Washington Post, Art+Auction, Art Forum, Stern Magazine.
