Jeffrey Koons is an American visual artist and sculptor known for his neo-pop kitsch style. He was born on January 21, 1955, in York, Pennsylvania. Among his most famous works are Inflatable Rabbit, Balloon Dogs, Tulips, and Michael Jackson and Bubbles. In France, he presented Koons Versailles at the Château and Gardens of Versailles in 2008–2009, and later held a major retrospective at the Centre Pompidou in 2014–2015.
