Emer is a contemporary artist who works in street art and metal works, primarily using recycled materials.
“My intention is simple: to create. It’s in my nature, each day being a small step towards production. It’s instinctive.
Like any artist, my production is linked to my environment and my personality. Practicing various combinations and tools has allowed me to develop a working method that allows me to manipulate any material, even though I have my preferred mediums, and to constantly have ideas.
Having observed the potential of certain companies’ waste and the different ways of working with iron, for example, I quickly adapted my production to this cycle. Professional experience has also allowed me to understand that mixing these different ways of creating can produce very inspiring results.
So I oriented my drawings in this direction: cultivating varied horizons and blending them with my own experiences to continue moving forward.” And what’s interesting is that this path pushes me to constantly question myself.”
