France

Photographer and director Francis Grosjean took up photography at the age of 10.

After becoming an engineer and filmmaker, he wrote and directed over 250 prestige films and commercials for leading French and foreign companies, as well as documentaries and television dramas.

Each film is an opportunity to innovate with new techniques: 3D computer-generated images, 3D, digital special effects. His work has won 35 national and international awards, including a Grand Prix from SCAM in France in 2008.

Returning to photography in 2010, Francis GROSJEAN set out to explore nature from a fractal perspective, seeking out the anthropomorphic creatures lurking in it on every scale, from macro to aerial photography.

His “NATURE DIVINITY- LES 5 ELEMENTS” collections (Earth, Water, Wood, Fire, Metal) capture Nature’s creations based on the 5 elements of Yin and Yang, ephemeral portraits of Divinities with Inuit, African or Asian overtones.

Supported by a foreword by Yann-Arthus BERTRAND, his photographs have been exhibited since 2014 in over 45 galleries, abbeys, museums and international Contemporary Art fairs in Europe. And for the first time in very large formats in China and then in Arles in 2018.

Francis GROSJEAN continues to exhibit in galleries and outdoors in the midst of nature, as in Toulon in 2024 and currently at the NEYRPIC shopping center in Grenoble.
