Originally from Belgium and graduated from Bruges and Gand Art Schools, Els has explored many continents for a long time.

A relentless traveller, she taught her Art in Asia, Africa and Colombia.​
Inspired by the light and colors of these countries, she is very touched by the children who have been gathering around her: their smiles, their joie de vivre and their innocence. She became a unique and admirable portraitist.
