BJ Formento and Richeille Formento form a duo of photographers whose story begins in Hawaii for him and in London for her. Their artistic journey has taken them through various regions of the globe, from the Philippines where he grew up to New York where they settled in 1999. She received prestigious artistic training at Central St. Martins College of Art before diving into the fashion world as an artistic director and designer.

Together, they have merged their passions to create photographs imbued with romance and elegance, capturing scenes that evoke cinema and explore the complexities of love, desire, and memory. Their distinctive style reveals a fascination for atmosphere and texture, with particular attention to embodying the sense of place.

Since 2006, the couple has traveled the world, eager to document the nuances and peculiarities of different cultures. Their travels have taken them from the streets of America to the hidden corners of Cuba, from vibrant Mexico to exotic India and enigmatic Japan. Throughout their journey, their passionate love for photography and cinema harmoniously blends with their profound love for each other.
