artist/ BRUSINI
ITALIE
Born in Italy in the 60s, Philippe BRUSINI, from the ironwork of art, has always been very influenced by the collective of artists “Arte Povera”.
Looking for the blues and greys of steel, the greens of greys of bronze, the iridescent roses of copper…, but also, more surprisingly, the assembly of materials as surprising as barbed wire, industrial washers, mechanical elements and many others.
His works, always the same, created on the same mold,
are, when you look closer, always different: ”
What changes are the materials,” he says.
At first, Brusini feared criticism, the view of others on his works: “We are never satisfied with what we do. We tell ourselves that we can improve this or that.” This is no longer the case today, where he proudly exhibits his many works internationally: “There comes a time when you have to stop working on the piece and exhibit it”.
