Martin Boldsen is a danish self-taught visual artist who draws inspiration from the unexpected color combinations he encounters in everyday life—whether in nature, urban settings, or other places where colors uniquely interact. These moments, where colors harmonize in surprising ways, inspire him to incorporate them into his paintings, creating compositions that are both original and captivating.

Influenced by renowned artists like Asger Jorn and Erik Jørgensen, Boldsen embraces a bold approach to color, often defying conventional rules to let contrasts speak powerfully.
