Olivier Bertrand was born in Marseille in 1975 to a French father and an Asian mother. From an early age, he was fascinated by drawing, the plastic arts and, in particular, origami.
After studying economics and completing his 3rd cycle, he finally decided on a career as a web designer.
15 years later, he took advantage of a period of convalescence to return to his first love. Although he didn’t fold paper this time around, the common thread remained the same: it was cardboard that he would divert. Assembling pieces of cardboard together, he now creates phantasmagorical, life-size animals.
