Trained at the School of Applied Arts of the City of Lyon, she worked as an interior designer for 18 years and then devoted herself to sculpture. She works in partnership with the ADOBATI foundry, in the Drôme, which makes the molds and bronze prints from her original clay works, according to the lost wax technique. It’s a long 12-step work.
Fragility, disability, childhood, the delicate balance of life, the vital force hidden at the bottom of everyone, friendship are his favorite themes.
In 2018, she published a testimonial book “I will return before the night”, in which pages of her newspaper written 20 years earlier are taken up, while her husband is the victim of a road accident, a few months after their marriage, which permanently nails him in a wheelchair. Story of a re-birth, which reflects on his work as a sculptor.
The little bird present on the sculptures is there to remind us that life is fragile and that this is perhaps what makes it so precious.
